By using Carat 24’s jewelry repair services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before submitting your jewelry for service.

1. Service Agreement

By submitting your jewelry, you agree that:

• The item is legally owned by you and is free of any disputes.
• You have provided accurate details regarding the item's condition.
• You authorize Carat 24 to inspect, clean, refurbish, or resize your jewelry as requested.

2. Estimates & Payment

• A free estimate will be provided before work begins.
• All payments must be made in full before the jewelry is returned.
• Prices are subject to change based on the complexity of the repair.

3. Turnaround Time

• Standard service takes 5-7 business days. Express services may be available at an additional cost.
• Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any changes.

4. Shipping & Liability

• Customers who choose shipping services must use tracked and insured shipping.
• Carat 24 is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
• In-store drop-off and pickup are available for added security.

5. Jewelry Condition & Warranty

• We take great care in handling all items, but pre-existing damage or weaknesses may affect the repair outcome.
• Repairs are covered under a 30-day workmanship warranty (excludes normal wear and tear).
• We are not liable for stone loss, breakage due to structural weakness, or prior modifications not disclosed at drop-off.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders may be canceled before work begins.
• Once repairs have started, no refunds will be issued.
• If we determine that a repair is not feasible, the item will be returned and no charges will apply.

7. Limitation of Liability

Carat 24 is not responsible for indirect or incidental damages arising from the repair service. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website.
